Asbestos and PAH polls in road coated on Rennes Métropole
Description
This layer makes it possible to locate the boreholes carried out on the pavements prior to the start of construction works on roads.
These surveys identify the presence (or not) of asbestos and the presence (or not) of high content PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons).
Asbestos has been banned since 31 December 1996. The presence of asbestos requires compliance with Decree No 96-98 of 7 February 1996 on the protection of workers from the risks related to the inhalation of asbestos dust.
The PAH content determines how the coatings are recycled (hot or cold) or landfilled (ISDI, ISDND, ISDD).
This layer is intended to be enriched by all the surveys that can be carried out by the various stakeholders on the road. Each contracting authority is asked to send a copy of the survey reports to the managing department: Road-Heritage Direction
When the survey is rated as positive (high asbestos or PAH presence), the link to download the result report is available in the “link_report” field.
