Description
Ya d’ar brezhoneg (in Breton Yes to the Breton language) is a campaign led by the Public Office of the Breton Language aimed at promoting and developing the use of the Breton language in the daily life of the inhabitants of historic Brittany, in the world of associations, professionals or local authorities.
Municipalities signatory to the Ya Charter of ar Brezhoneg local authorities must fulfil a contract of objectives chosen from a list of forty actions. One of them is the name of the Breton-French bilingual roads, designed to set up street signs throughout the territory.
