Description

This layer of points locates the various safety interventions operated by the Rennes Métropole Roads Department on its territory, since January 2024. It replaces the handrails and paper intervention sheets that were previously written by the officers after each intervention. The geolocation of interventions is mainly aimed at facilitating interventions and the preventive management of accidents (identifying black spots, measuring the effectiveness of safety arrangements, etc.). Interventions may take place during the working day or outside working hours (standby hours) For each type of event (physical or bodily accidents, vehicle in breakdown, problem on a network, signalling problem, object, animal or person on track, climatic event), the agent in intervention in the field, via a mobile application installed on the mobile, will geolocate and describe his intervention in a more or less detailed way.
