Level curves on Rennes Métropole
Description
Layer of lines representing the isohypses resulting from the operation of a Digital Field Model in the territory of Rennes Métropole. The NTM used to generate isohypses does not display altimetric variations due to works of art (e.g. on a bridge, the indicated altitude corresponds to that of the ground under the apron).
An isohypse is an imaginary line connecting all the points of an NTM with the same altitude. They are more commonly referred to as “level curves” in mapping.
The level curves are 2 meters apart. A field named “m_ten” allows you to filter the curves every 10 meters.
The “altitude” field contains the altitude value represented by the isoline.
