Regional Archives Pays de la Loire – Key dates of regional history
Description
This selection traces the main milestones or key dates in the history of the Pays de la Loire Region. It is not exhaustive and is on the contrary intended to evolve as research work on regional history and future entries into the regional archive of Pays de la Loire. It was formed in the course of the discoveries and development activities of the Regional Archives, in particular on the page ‘http://www.paysdelaloire.fr/services-en-ligne/archives-regionales/archive-du-mois-de/’.
Each date – from 1930 to 2017 – is associated with an image, sound or video from the regional archive (with exceptions noted).
Three lines or categories of dates are proposed:
\- History of the regional institution
\- The “big dates”, concerning more precisely the areas of regional intervention
\- the line “Coups de coeur des archivistes”: unusual archives and favorite documents of archivists...
