Synonym Licence is in this context synonymous with Extraction Permit. Production licences on the Norwegian continental shelf, with complete history for each production licence. Definition Extraction licences are awarded by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The transfer of a production licence or a share of a production licence must be approved by the Ministry.
Petoro AS is responsible for managing the State’s participating interests through the State’s Direct Financial Interest (SDFI) in rights-holder groups where such shares exist at all times.
