Church buildings in Norway
Description
Kirkebyggdatabasen is a property register with church buildings and other buildings and properties belonging to the Church of Norway. The database is operated by KA Kirkelig employer- and interest organisation. Data from Kirkebyggdatabasen can be found at churchsøk.no, and is maintained by the local property managers, who in most cases are church common councils and parish councils.
A selection of the basic data on the churches is available in the web service.
Examples of data fields are year of construction, protection status, number of seats, building material, architect etc. The Web service requires login, contact ka for username/password, documentation and terms text.
