Marcus is the Special Collections of the University Library in Bergen’s portal to digitised manuscripts, photography, diplomas and much more. The site is named after Marcus Selmer, Bergen’s first photographer.
The Marcus dataset contains approximately 2.7 million triples about documents in the University Library of Bergen’s collections and the people associated with these.
The dataset currently contains mainly photographs, but many textual sources will be available by the end of 2016.
The dataset uses FOAF, dct, shoe, Bibo and a separate form (subbont:
& http://data.ub.uib.no/ontology/ ).
