Heritage of Nantes Métropole

Nantes metropolis and the city of Nantes have a rich and diverse tree heritage, which is regularly inventoried and diagnosed by the Trees and Canopy service of the Nature and Gardens Directorate. The data presented concern the 83 500 ‘alignment trees’ located on the public road space of the 24 municipalities of Nantes Métropole and the 40 350 trees located on the city estate of Nantes: parks, gardens, schools...
Each tree location is geolocated in the form of a one-off object. On most of these locations is a tree that is characterized by descriptive information (essence, dimensions, shape, stage of development...).
Data from other locations are being acquired and will be integrated as soon as available.
