Characteristics of hospitalization cases of acute inpatient care
Description
As part of the publication of data from the National Register of Paid Health Services (NRHZS), a data set was created providing information on hospitalization cases of acute care in the form of aggregated data on hospitalization cases. The dataset contains data on reported health services covered by public health insurance from 2010 to the last closed year and provides users with the opportunity to evaluate the number of acute care hospitalization cases (compiled according to the CZ-DRG methodology) and the volume of treatment days on standard beds and intensive care beds. The basic aim of the dataset is to provide summary characteristics of hospitalization cases of acute care (number of hospitalization cases, sum of treatment days) according to available categorizations. The user can stratify the data according to the individual characteristics of the patients (age, gender, residence), characteristics of the medical facility (headquarters of the medical facility), characteristics of the hospitalization case (main hospitalization diagnosis, surgery and death during the hospitalization case) or a combination thereof. The dataset is created in accordance with the national methodology for the creation of open data and is available in the national catalogue.
