Cardiology: Epidemiology of heart failure
Description
The data set allows to evaluate the epidemiological characteristics of heart failure (incidence, prevalence, mortality) in the population of the Czech Republic. Data collected in individual years can be stratified according to the demographic characteristics of patients (sex, age category, region of residence). The number of patients with heart failure treated in outpatient or acute inpatient care can also be evaluated. Data are available from 2015 until the last closed year.
One record (row) of the dataset contains information on the occurrence and treatment of heart failure in one patient over a period of one year; This is called Patient Year.
