Cardiology: The burden of cardiovascular diseases on the population of the Czech Republic
Description
The data set allows to evaluate the number of persons in the population of the Czech Republic who have been identified cardiovascular disease (CVD).The data found in individual years can be stratified according to the demographic characteristics of patients (sex, age category, region and district of residence). This dataset provides only a general overview of the burden of cardiovascular diseases on the population, it does not focus on individual specific diseases occurring in the population. Data on CVD prevalence are available from 2014 until the last closed year.
One record (row) of the dataset contains information on the number of people with cardiovascular disease in a given year, depending on the sex, age category and place of residence of the patient.
