Reproductive health: Parents and C-sections
Description
As part of the publication of data from the National Register of Reproductive Health (NRRZ), a data set was prepared that provides information about the mother, her history, manner and course of childbirth in the form of fully anonymised primary data. It is a thematically focused dataset that allows analysis of caesarean sections according to available parameters in a long time series 2000-2022.
One line of the file contains information about one parent and performed caesarean section, including stratification according to basic characteristics, and thus allows to summarize the data by year of the event, age of the parent and type of health service provider. The anesthesia during caesarean section and the type of caesarean section, which is defined by the beginning of childbirth and the date of determination of termination of pregnancy by caesarean section, are also presented.
The dataset aims to cover a narrowly defined thematic area and allow users to carry out their own analytical processing. This thematic dataset is completely separate, non-interconnectable. The set is created in accordance with the national methodology for creating open data and is available in the national catalogue.
A summary code list has been created for the NRRZ datasets to make it easier for the user to work with these datasets.
