Description

The content of the dataset at the level of the City of Prague includes basic epidemiological parameters (numbers of persons diagnosed with COVID-19 including reinfections, numbers of currently infected including reinfections), which will allow to continuously monitor basic epidemiological indicators and evaluate trends against the background of data published for the whole Czech Republic. Based on information from some small municipalities, the ISIN system administrator records problems with the assignment of residents' residence. This is a real-time identification error in a minority of cases where no residence is reported from the KHS survey and only laboratory data are available. The place of residence is correctly determined at the level of the region and district, but there has been an incorrect assignment of people to a specific municipality. The cases seem to belong to large cities, and small municipalities were assigned by mistake. Another problem may be the assignment of the correct permanent residence to a given municipality with a patient who is not staying in the municipality (only registered for residence there) and his diagnosis and treatment takes place elsewhere. Both the administrator and the ISIN operator thank the municipal authorities for their feedback, as otherwise such errors cannot be detected. Publication of data at municipal level was driven by the effort to provide barrier-free information services – these data are now back-validated in cooperation with the administration of the basic registers. These are not large-scale errors, but they need to be addressed. For mayors of all municipalities, there is a new Internet dashboard that will allow for a quick retrospective check of correctness.
