Reproductive health: Birth by method of birth
Description
As part of the publication of data from the National Register of Reproductive Health (NRRZ), a data set has been prepared that provides information on the newborn, the method of birth and the health condition of the child born in the form of fully anonymised primary data. This is a thematic dataset that allows for a detailed analysis of the number of births by method of delivery and other stratification criteria in the long 2000-2022 time series.
One line of the file contains information about the birth and its basic characteristics, such as birth weight, gestational age, mother's age, and thus allows to summarize the data by year of the event and analyze the method of birth by birth weight, gestational age and, for example, the position of the fetus.
The dataset aims to cover a narrowly defined thematic area and allow users to carry out their own analytical processing. This thematic dataset is completely separate, non-interconnectable. The set is created in accordance with the national methodology for creating open data and is available in the national catalogue.
A summary code list has been created for the NRRZ datasets to make it easier for the user to work with these datasets.
