Annual gas consumption aggregated to the IRIS grid on municipalities of m2A

Description

This dataset allows to visualise the evolution of gas consumption in MWh and the number of delivery points, as well as the percentage of consumption from telemeters since 2010, by sector (residential, tertiary, industrial, agricultural or unaffected) and by geographical mesh. The geographical mesh is the IRIS mesh (Iots grouped for Statistical Information), supplemented by an additional line of hidden data due to personal data in the administrative region. This dataset was fully updated in 2017 to reduce the number of PDLs not assigned to an IRIS and not assigned to an industry, which may explain changes in results over the years 2010 to 2015. In 2018, thermosensitivity and heat sensitive consumption indicators for the residential sector were added from 2017 data. These data are published in compliance with the rules relating to the protection of Commercially Sensitive Information
