Population history (1968-2019)

This dataset provides results on births, deaths, population, principal residences, secondary residences and occasional dwellings, characteristics of persons in households.

Definitions:

Municipal population

It includes persons:

• having their habitual residence in the territory of the municipality, in a dwelling or a community;
• Detained in the prison establishments of the commune;
• homeless persons identified in the territory of the municipality;
• usually residing in a mobile dwelling listed in the territory of the municipality.

Households (as defined in the census)

A household, as defined in the population census, means all persons who share the same principal residence, without these persons necessarily being related. A household may consist of only one person. There is equality between the number of households and the number of principal residences.
