Cantons of Maine-et-Loire before 2015
Description
Administrative limit of the former cantons of Maine-et-Loire, numbering 41 until 2014.
In 2013, the law of 17 May reformed the existing cantonal division. The general councils (current departmental councils) and the principal elected representatives are consulted on draft decrees, with the number of cantons to be divided by two.
On 26 February 2014, Decree No. 2014-259 redefined the boundaries of the cantons of the department of Maine-et-Loire from 41 to 21.
