Rural Revitalisation Zones (ZRR)
Description
Created by the Land Management and Development Act of 4 February 1995, the Rural Revitalisation Zones (RRZs) bring together rural areas that face particular difficulties: low population density, socio-economic structural handicap.
The classification in ZRR allows companies in these territories to benefit from substantial tax advantages, especially when they are set up. The Law on the Development of Rural Territories (Law 2005-157) increased tax arrangements and encouraged inter-municipal groupings to improve the effectiveness of actions in municipalities in ZRR.
This dataset presents the ranking at national level (order of 16 March 2017) and in the Occitanie Region (Amendment Order of **22 February 2018).**
