Municipalities affected by a city contract
Description
The city contract is the framework for actions of the city’s policy, studies the Law “City and Urban Cohesion” of 21 February 2014, in favour of 1514 priority districts at national level, including **105 in the Occitania Region.**
Concluded on an inter-municipal scale for six years, the 39 city contracts in the Occitanie Region are based on three axes of action:
* **social cohesion**: the contract provides for measures to support social, cultural, sporting and association facilities to foster social ties in the territory;
* **the living environment** and urban renewal: it plans the creation of equipment, mobility in the residential park or the establishment of new activities;
* **economic development and employment**: the city contract ensures the presence of Pôleemploi and local missions in each of the priority territories.
This dataset presents **48 municipalities in the Occitanie Region concerned by a city contract.**
