Referrals to the mediator of the Departmental Council of Mayenne since 2016

Description

This dataset contains the history of referrals to the Ombudsman since 2016, whether or not they fall within his or her remit. The Ombudsman acts within the framework of the General Code of Local Authorities (Articles L.3211-1 and L.3221-1) and the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration (Articles L.421-1 and L.421-2). Content description: * the field **"Mode"** specifies the modalities of receipt of the request (mail, mail, telephone, etc.). The value _NaN_ is used when information is not available. * the field **"Thematic"** is based on the nomenclature of public policies falling within the competence of the Departmental Council. The value "Outside departmental competence" is used when the referral does not fall within the scope of intervention of the Departmental Council. * the field **"Subject"** details the subject of the referral. * field **"Answer"** details the response to the requester. The dataset is updated annually at the time of drafting the Ombudsman's report, when the previous year's data are consolidated (update period: June - July each year). Depending on the progress of the files, the Ombudsman’s report takes into account **the year in which the requests were closed**, while the publication on open data is based on the **date of referral**. _Example_: 18 referrals registered for the 2022 Ombudsman’s report for which 4 requests were made in 2021 but closed in 2022. * * *
