Monthly regularity Transilien

Description

Monthly punctuality Transilien since January 2013. On Transilien, the quality of service is assessed in terms of "passenger punctuality", i.e. the percentage of passengers arriving at their destination station with a delay of less than five minutes. Since January 2002, in agreement with Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) – formerly Syndicat des transports d’Ile-de-France (STIF) – which is the transport organising authority for Transilien, the method of calculation is no longer based on the number of trains but on the number of passengers affected. The aim is to reflect the reality of each traveller’s journey. For each train cancelled or delayed by more than five minutes, it is therefore possible to know the number of passengers who are impacted by a disruption. To carry out this calculation, officials authorised by IDFM and Transilien carry out counts to determine the number of entrants and descendants at stations, for all trains during the week. These data are updated according to the data transmitted by the control gantries. NB: Due to the national strike, the punctuality of December 2019 and January 2020 was not taken into account.
