Description

This dataset contains mass catering sites. The data comes from the application "ma-cantine", whose role is the implementation of the obligations stemming from the EGALim laws as well as Climate and Resilience. The data is filtered on the Île-de-France Region. If you are a canteen manager and cannot find your site, you can add it via the [ma-cantine] platform (https://ma-cantine.agriculture.gouv.fr/). It will then be automatically added to this dataset. In connection with this application, you can also find the dataset of telereporting campaigns in which mass catering sites communicate on their progress in organic and other sustainable products. In the summer of 2023, the register counts more than twenty thousand collective catering sites, or about a quarter of all national sites. It is important to understand the production_type parameter. This field details who cooks and who serves the meals. Its value is one of four options: * **SITE**: canteen that produces meals on site * **SITE_COOKED_ELSEWHERE**: canteen that serves meals prepared by a central kitchen, also called satellite * **CENTRAL**: central kitchen without place of consumption * **CENTRAL_SERVING**: central kitchen that also accommodates guests on site This dataset is produced by the Directorate-General for Food (DGAL).
