The Region encourages owners and tenants of gardens, parks and other small nature spaces in Île-de-France to develop good practices in favour of biodiversity. What they earn from it? A label and accompaniment to obtain additional aid. [Read more about the process](https://www.iledefrance.fr/petit-patrimoine-naturel) The dataset identifies the winners whose data can be made public. * Name of space * Address (for public sites) * Insee code and name of the municipality * Type of space (public green space, private collective space, corporate green space, individual garden, other) * Open to the public (Yes/No) * Actions carried out * Substrate thickness * Photo By 2027, the objective is to achieve the labeling of 500 green spaces of less than 20.000 m² in order to build a network of biodiversity islands, managed ecologically. All public or private spaces located in Île-de-France, with a potential to host biodiversity and meeting the following criteria are eligible: * vegetated spaces in the open ground, on slabs or roofs with a minimum substrate thickness of 15 cm; * lack of regulatory protection in relation to biodiversity (natural reserve, sensitive natural space, prefectural order protecting biotope or geotope, protection forest...); * minimum area of 50 m² and maximum surface area of 20.000 m². Public spaces with an area of more than 20.000 m² are eligible to the extent that the location commune is very small in green spaces or has only one public green space.
