Accompaniment of high school students for Theatre Clubs
Description
List of schools concerned by the support system for high school students for the implementation of Theatre Clubs.
A public contract between the Region and the CEMEAs aims to provide support to high school students and apprentices for the implementation of theatre clubs in high schools and CFAs in the Île-de-France Region. The final objective of the operation is to lead to the establishment, by students from the Ile-de-France region, of theatre clubs within their schools and to enable them to manage and run them independently.
Promote the initiatives of high school students and apprentices in the Ile-de-France region around theatrical practice, develop their knowledge and creative capacity within the framework of a group, allow the creation and support of theatre clubs within the Ile-de-France high schools and CFA, encourage young people to become autonomous in the organisation, animation and management of this activity: These are the objectives of the new operation of the Theatre Clubs, initiated by the Ile-de-France Region for the 2012-2013 school year. 240 high school students and apprentices spread over 24 establishments in the Ile-de-France region (3 establishments per department) can benefit, throughout the school year, from all the accompanying measures for this operation:
a section on ‘theatre practice’ on the basis of a weekly workshop lasting 1h30;
\- a three-day "discovery of the professional environment" section to meet professionals working in cultural structures;
\- a technical support component providing support to pupils and training them in the autonomous management of theatre clubs;
\- a program of outings to the theater to promote the discovery of contemporary creation.
This operation is free of charge and open to groups of 10 young people from the same school.
