Groupings of local and regional authorities 2017

Description

Banatic, the National Inter-municipal Database, is the reference information system on inter-municipal data. Developed by the DGCL, this portal is intended to make available as much information as possible on the category of groupings of local and regional authorities as defined by Article L5210-1-1 A of the General Code of Local and Regional Authorities (CGCT). Banatic's information is produced on the basis of the information contained in the information systems managed by the devolved departments of the State known as ASPIC (Access of public services to information on local authorities). Information on public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation (EPCI) with or without own taxation and mixed trade unions is disseminated on Banatic: \- public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation with their own taxation: metropolitan area, urban community, agglomeration community, community of municipalities and new agglomeration union; \- public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation without own taxation: a single-purpose trade union and a multiple-purpose trade union; \- Mixed trade unions: Closed mixed trade union and open mixed trade union. \- Metropolitan poles Reproduction rights reserved and strictly limited. NB. The geo-shapes are sometimes missing and, for greater clarity, do not include the interlocking administrative levels (example of a grouping uniting several municipalities as well as the department and the region)
