Green Hackathon

From September 16, 2020 to October 14, 2020, 71 teams of Parisian high school students participated in the Green Hackathon, the award-winning idea competition to imagine a more ecological high school. The dataset presents the 24 finalist projects.

Green Hackathon, késako?

“Green” because the contest is focused on sustainable development.

“Hack” because it’s not about hacking anything, but about mobilising your creativity to think about tomorrow’s high school.

“Athon” because, as in a marathon, groups have limited time to build their project.

The jury

The 3 members of the jury were:

• Sarah Kowal, Deputy Director General of the Lycées cluster of the Île-de-France Region,

• Jean-Marie Pelat, Secretary General of the Academic Region of Île-de-France,

• Jérôme Lhote, President of Koom and trainer at La Fresque du climat.
