Description
Open to all types of **cinema projects**, **Aid after production** is a selective mechanism to support a wide variety of works that could not be completed or distributed without this financial assistance.
Whether it is film or digital post-production, the Region helps film producers to complete the works already shot.
**Objectives of the aid**
Open to all types of **cinema projects**, **Aid after production** is a selective mechanism to support a wide variety of works that could not be completed or distributed without this financial assistance. This system takes place at a crucial stage in the manufacture of a film: after filming, but before the completion of the work and is a real opportunity for fragile works to be shown in theatres and to meet their audiences.
**Beneficiaries**
Film and audiovisual production companies.
**Nature of projects supported**
Short or feature film of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental...)
**Eligibility criteria**
Any project that has benefited from a post-implementation aid scheme set up by a local authority in the Ile-de-France region is not eligible for regional aid.
Any film which has already received aid from the Support Fund for the Technical Film and Audiovisual Industries of the Ile de France Region shall not be eligible for new aid under the post-production aid scheme.
To be eligible for regional aid, films must not exceed a certain ceiling of public funding (French and foreign, including European funding) or television funding acquired.
The finalisation work covered by the aid application must not have already been carried out before the dossier is submitted.
**Terms and Conditions**
The aid is granted under Decision No CR 12-23 of 16 February 2012.
Selective aid is awarded following a favourable opinion from a viewing committee, a vote by the Region’s standing committee and the signing of an agreement.
**Procedures**
To be eligible for this support, candidates must submit a complete application file including all the expected pieces, including the DVDs of the work in a final or quasi-final image montage.
