Description
Information on scholarships intended to help male and female prisoners, regardless of age, obtain a higher education diploma (for information, only 20% of prisoners receive general training provided by teachers from the National Education Department made available to the Ministry of Justice).
In addition, this system is supplemented by:
- free registration fees in agreement with partner academic institutions such as the University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée
- assistance with the acquisition of books, university books and computer equipment
- multi-year regional support for aid and support programmes for incarcerated students carried out in Île-de-France by universities in the Ile-de-France region
