Description
The dataset concerns aid granted in 2013 as part of the aid for the street arts and circus arts project.
**_Beneficiaries_**
This regional aid may be granted to actors in the field of street and circus arts acting for the development of the creation, production and dissemination of works in public spaces: companies, artists’ collectives, operators, venues run by an artistic team, structures organising highlights or events.
** _Eligibility conditions_**
The projects eligible for regional aid are:
\- artistic creation or recovery projects in the public space integrating the surrounding context, including in situ projects; presented by professional creative structures (companies and operators) who have already created and broadcast at least one show under this artistic field. Also concerned are the creative projects carried out by the artistic teams who have chosen to roam under a marquee and thus broadcast their show in the heart of the city and as close as possible to its inhabitants. The Region will be attentive to projects relating to artistic emergence in order to support the creation of tomorrow and to facilitate the meeting of these artists with audiences.

\- projects or events outside festivals and city festivals taking place in the Ile-de-France region highlighting street and/or circus arts, dissemination in public spaces and artistic emergence. Priority will be given to projects that take place in territories where these artistic fields are less present. Projects must propose specific actions aimed at Ile-de-France residents in order to create the conditions for artists and audiences to meet.
Regional outreach is not an eligibility criterion here, unlike support for cultural events. In addition, taking into account the relationship with the public is an essential factor that must appear in the implementation of these projects.
Such projects may include, for example:
\- a highlight around the discovery of street arts and / or circus arts outside festivals and city festivals
\- the opening for the first time of a street arts season with a series of events allowing audiences to discover street and track arts in the public space.
In both cases, it is a question of accompanying new initiatives that do not fall within a fixed and annual time frame and of supporting the risk-taking of the organiser, whether it is an operator, a venue (theatre, cultural centre) or a local authority.
** _Nature and terms of aid_**
Regional aid accompanies specific projects defined over time and may be renewed. This aid cannot be combined with network aid. Priority is given to projects whose promoters are not already supported by the Region. The same structure may receive support under each of these two schemes once any project subsidised under either scheme has been completed.
_Award criteria_
\- The nature, objectives, content and singularity of the artistic project
\- Consistency of the budget and sustainability of the project
\- The diversity and relevance of partnerships
\- Compliance with the legislation in force and the remuneration of artists within the framework of the minimums provided for in professional agreements
\- Priority is given to projects that are socially, environmentally and energetically virtuous, in the fight against global warming, in the protection of biodiversity and more broadly in the environmental field.
_Eligible expenditure and financing arrangements_
Expenditure attributable to the development of the projects referred to in paragraph 3.In the case of a project under a closed and open marquee or mobile structure, expenditure relating to installation (assembly, dismantling) shall be taken into account.
Regional support is capped at a maximum of 50% of the eligible expenditure excluding VAT within a maximum grant ceiling of €40 000.
