Description

This dataset proposes the **photos of certain parts of the case referenced 2 B 15876,** a Case Bag of the Parliament of Toulouse which has been kept as it is and has not yet been studied. These photos were taken by the teams of the [Archives départementales de la Haute-Garonne](https://archives.haute-garonne.fr/). **Descriptive of the case:** No, it is not a well-fisted roast but a bundle of paper deposited by Marc Bermont Lacombe, trader of Revel, on 28 February 1771 at the Registry of the Parliament of Toulouse. Preserved in a canvas bag, typical of parliamentary trial bags, it was accompanied by a document explaining that Marc Bermont Lacombe had filed it at the request of Noël Segonne, merchant of Verdalle (Tarn), in execution of a court order of 4 February 1771 and the command made accordingly on 19 February 1771 at the request of Laurent Asaizat (other spelling for Assézat?), trader of Revel. It was Marc Bermont Lacombe who packed the bundle with a rope and sealed it. It came to us as it is and has never been opened since 1771. It was decided not to undo it in order to maintain the integrity of the document. We absolutely do not know what it contains. So we can imagine everything, although it is probably a matter of debt between merchants. The future counts will perhaps teach us a little more about this “mysterious affair”.
