Description
This dataset provides **photos of certain exhibits of the case referenced 2 B 11203** of [data set Bags for trial of the Parliament of Toulouse, Lot 02](https://data.haute-garonne.fr/explore/dataset/sacs-a-proces-du-parlement-de-toulouse-lot-02/information). These photos were taken by the teams of the [Archives départementales de la Haute-Garonne](https://archives.haute-garonne.fr/).
**Descriptive of the case:** On December 12, 1740, complaint by the king’s prosecutor against “an unknown man”, deemed a thief. It is Pierre JEAN, 16 years old, native of “Espallion en Rouergue”. Under the larcins imputed to him, are mentioned “thefts of oranges, cedrats, orange jams and quinces, Champagne wine, Graves wine”, copper pots, a mirror, chickens, etc. JEAN says he was in the trailer of a friend named Destan. Sentence on 10 May 1741: Jean marked G.A.L, with galleys in perpetuity.
