Directory of interest representatives in Haute-Garonne (source HATVP)

Description

This dataset offers the directory of Interest Representatives (lobbyists) declared in the department of Haute-Garonne. The source of this data, shared in Open Data, comes from the [website of the High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life] (https://www.hatvp.fr/le-repertoire/) (HATVP). We have kept only the data relating to the interest representatives located in the department of Haute-Garonne using the indicator "postal_code" available in the files shared by the HATVP, files downloaded and processed on July 16, 2024. * * * Background: Since 1 July 2017, socio-economic actors exercising influence over public officials are required to register in the digital directory of interest representatives managed by the High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life (HATVP). This directory aims to provide information to citizens on interest representatives and their relations with public officials when public decisions are taken. The aim is to better understand and measure the impact of interest representatives on the normative process, i.e. to "know who influences the law". It is thus possible to consult in open data a series of information allowing to know the identity of the interest representatives registered in the directory, their actions of representation of interests (or "lobbying") as well as the means devoted to these actions. This information must be reported annually by interest representatives.
