Atlas of the landscapes of the Haute-Garonne: the Lauragais Sillon

Description

This dataset proposes the geographical outline of the landscape unit of the Lauragais Sillon. Located in the east of the department, in the heart of the Pays Lauragais, the Sillon Lauragais is a fine cultivated and open corridor between the Toulouse agglomeration and its urbanisation spread to the north-west, and the Seuil de Naurouze to the south-east, on the edge of the department of Aude. Beyond that, it escapes to open up to a wider territory. * * * * _**More:**_ knowledge tool offered to all, **the Landscape Atlas** identifies and characterises the landscapes of Haute-Garonne in their diversity, proposes a vision of the future for the quality of the territory, guides actions and gives them meaning. **24 Landscape Units have been identified** and are the subject of descriptive and prospective fact sheets to be discovered in full on [the site of the Atlas of landscapes of the Haute-Garonne](https://paysages.haute-garonne.fr/).
