This dataset proposes the geographical outline of the landscape unit of the Upper Mountain of Luchonnais. In the heart of the central Pyrenees, to the south of the department and visible from most of it, the Pyrenees express in the Luchonnais character and intensity, in this territory where the middle mountain becomes high-mountain, finding the culmination of the system of emerging reliefs at the level of the commingling foothill.
