Lithuanian Spatial Information Portal
Description
The Lithuanian Spatial Information Portal www.geoportal.lt (hereinafter referred to as the “LEI portal”) is the most important component of the Lithuanian Spatial Information Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to AS the “LEIŠYS”). The LEI portal is a state information system that has been operational since 2008 and is designed to exchange geographical information online. The LEI portal shall implement the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive, which entered into force in 2007.
