Flood hazard areas (extent of flooding)
Description
Spatial data on flood hazard areas - areas subject to low, medium and high probability flooding in rivers and along the coast of the Baltic Sea and Curonian Lagoon. M1:2000 digital maps of low (0.1 %), medium (1 %), high (10 %) probability flood hazard from snowmelt and heavy rainfall are provided.
Data has been prepared for the implementation of the Directive 2007/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and management of flood risks. Data updated every 6 years.
