M1:10 000 digital maps of the coastal floodplain for low (0.1%), medium (1%), high (10%) probability flood economic risk.
For example, 1% probability flood scenario shows where, according to hydrological calculations, floods of the same characteristics may recur once every 100 years. Floods in coastal areas at 1%. probability of water levels in the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon;
A dataset of flood risk features and areas, consisting of data on: risk features that may cause accidental pollution in the event of flooding; water bodies with more than 10 cubic metres of drinking water abstraction per day or supplying more than 50 people; water bodies used for recreational purposes and for bathing; protected areas and sites of the European ecological network Natura 2000, etc.
The data show the important sites and objects that could be affected by flooding.
Data has been prepared for the implementation of the Directive 2007/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and management of flood risks. Updated every 6 years.
