Description
Open data – data of Administrative Divisions of Interwar Lithuania. The boundaries of administrative units were digitized from the 1:750 000 scale „Mapa rozsiedlenia ludnosci polskiej" map published in 1929. The names of administrative units of Lithuanian territory, which are provided by the dataset, are exactly the same as they were used during the Lithuanian Census of 1923. The main used source of the original names of administrative units of 1923 is a publication called "Lietuvos gyventojai. Pirmojo 1923 m. rugsėjo 17 d. visuotino gyventojų surašymo duomenys", which was published in 1925 in Kaunas.
