Strategic noise map for major railway lines outside the conurbation
Description
Strategic noise maps shall be drawn up (and revised once they have been drawn up) and approved by the competent authorities at least every five years. For main railway sections (with yearly traffic of 30.000 trains or more) outside the conurbation, the data contained in the strategic noise maps shall form the basis for the establishment of a noise prevention action plan. The noise action plan shall include noise prevention and noise reduction measures.
