Water body protection zones of 5 meters
Description
Buffer strips along unregulated water courses spatial data created in order to implement the Good Agricultural and Environmental Conditions standard 4 (GAEC 4) “Establishment of buffer strips along water courses” of the Strategic plan 2023-2027 for Agriculture and Rural Development of Lithuania, which aims to protect surface water bodies from pollution from agricultural activity. Buffer strips of unregulated water courses spatial data prepared as a basis using the graphic boundaries of unregulated natural water bodies - rivers, lakes, ponds, other water bodies (basins, ponds) identified in the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) Data Set of Lithuanian Republic KZS_DR5LT setting the buffer strip width of 5 meters. The data is updated once a year.
