Water body protection zones of 1 or 3 meters
Description
Buffer strips along irrigation ditches spatial data created in order to implement the Good Agricultural and Environmental Conditions standard 4 (GAEC 4) “Establishment of buffer strips along water courses” of the Strategic plan 2023-2027 for Agriculture and Rural Development of Lithuania, which aims to protect surface water bodies from pollution from agricultural activity. Buffer strips (1 or 3 meters wide) along irrigation ditches spatial data prepared as a basis using the graphic boundaries of straightened streams, ditches and canals identified in the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) Data Set of Lithuanian Republic KZS_DR5LT setting the buffer strip width of 1 or 3 meters. The data is updated once a year.
