R&D expenses per business economic sector (BES)
Description
Internal R&D Expenditure, by business economic sector. The official statistical data of R&D expenditure concern the total of the country, with analysis in the business economic sectors. R&D expenditure includes personnel costs, other current expenditure (such as operating expenses - rents, telephones, consumables, travel, subscriptions, etc.), as well as capital expenditure (purchase of equipment, land and buildings). Excluded are R&D activities carried out by entities with assignments to external partners or other entities and are carried out without their substantial involvement (extramural expenditure). The National Documentation Centre (EKT) produces and submits the index to Eurostat and the OECD on an annual basis. More information: https://metrics.ekt.gr/research-development.
