Results of the monitoring of the quality of Swimming Waters of Crete
Description
The Water Directorate of the Decentralized Administration of Crete is responsible for monitoring the quality of swimming waters in the Region of Crete since 2016. For the year 2023, 177 monitoring points for the quality of swimming waters have been identified. For information on the data, please contact the Water Directorate. FUNDING SOURCES: The monitoring program was funded by the Operational Program of Crete 2014-2020 and was included in it by Decision No. 656/16-2-2016 (ADA: ΩΦΔ67ΛΚ-Τ47) Inclusion Decision of the action: "Monitoring of Swimming Waters of the Region of Crete according to Directive 2006/7/EC". For the current year 2023, the monitoring program is funded by: GREEN FUND "NATURAL ENVIRONMENT & INNOVATIVE ACTIONS 2023" Priority Axis 2 "Biodiversity Conservation Actions - Innovative actions - Smart Cities - Other actions".
