Description
The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (hereinafter ‘the CAFIA’), as the administrative authority for the exercise of state supervision in the field of food, has been in charge since 1. 10. 2022, in accordance with Section 3(4)(f) of Act No 146/2002 on the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority and amending certain related acts, as amended (‘the CAFIA Act’), a list of websites offering unsafe food or websites whose content seriously infringes the requirements laid down by the legislation for which the inspection is competent (‘the list of websites’) and publishes it on its website.
Pursuant to Section 3b of the CAFIA Act, it contains the list of websites, the address of the website, the date of registration of the website in the list of websites, or the date of deletion of the registration of the website from that list.
Section 3d of the CAFIA Act obliges providers of internet access services in the Czech Republic to prevent access to websites included in the list of websites within 15 days from the date of publication of the website in the list of websites.
