Motivation for Volunteering and to Help to Solve Crises in V4 Countries
Description
The dataset contains anonymised answers from a representative sociological survey conducted in the Visegrad Four countries (V4: Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary) in 2023. In total, it includes 2 034 responses, with data covering topics related to volunteering, donation and civic engagement in response to crisis situations such as the refugee crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. The set contains information about the demographics of respondents (age, gender, education, income), their involvement in formal and informal volunteering activities and their donation activities, including motivations. The data is fully anonymised and suitable for analyses aimed at comparing volunteering engagement between countries, demographic groups and the impact of crisis events on civic engagement.
