Description
A redistribution of the French cantons is defined by the law of 17 May 2013 and the implementing decrees published in February and March 2014. In accordance with this law, the constituencies of the cantons allow the election of departmental assemblies, renamed departmental councils by majority, binomial and parity voting.
This data contains the delimitation and communal composition of the cantons as established by Decree No. 2014-254 of 26 February 2014 delimiting the cantons in the department of Gers.
Merging the contours of municipalities from the composition of the cantons as presented in the decree. For the commune of Auch traced on map of streets from orthophotoplan and cadastral plan.
Names of the councillors elected in 2015 to the Departmental Council.
