STAR aggregated attendance data in table format
Description
** STAR traffic data per line per day**
This dataset offers STAR network connections per day in the previous calendar year and the current calendar year minus two months.
Concretely, on 5 April 2023, 2022 data as well as January and February 2023 data will be available. On 5 May 2023, 2022 data as well as January, February and March 2023 data will be available.
The structure of the attendance file is as follows:
\- Column 1: Year of the day of operation
\- Column 2: Month of the day of operation
\- Column 3: Day of operation
\- Column 4: Week number of the day of operation
\- Column 5: Line ID (= lineo)
\- Column 6: Short name of the line in the commercial sense
\- Column 7: Type of line
\- Column 8: Line Category
\- Column 9: Attendance (5 decimal places after the comma to ensure overall consistency of aggregation on one line)
The information available in this file can be crossed with the information available on STAR Opendata. Be careful, however, to the temporal desynchronisation of the data: the Opendata offers, for example, the topology and hourly data of the network that are currently in use or to come, while the attendance data are those recorded two months before (months in progress minus two months).
So you have to think about keeping Opendata information, managing your own versioning and/or using GTFS data to cross-reference the information.
Particularities:
. Line ID = 9000: Traffic data for bridge parks
. Line ID = 9999: Attendance data that could not be attached to a line
