# Mobile Frequency Observatory on Grand Paris Sud
By communiqué of 9 October 2012, the Ministers Arnaud Montebourg and Fleur Pellerin wanted to make the deployment process of operators more transparent by setting up an observatory for investments and deployments in mobile networks.
The Ministers requested that this observatory be based on the joint expertise of **the National Frequency Agency (ANFR)** and **the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts (ARCEP)**.
On this map, **each point represents a suppor** t. This support can be a building, a water tower or a pylon. On it are the technical equipment, transmitters and antennas, of one or more operators, which allow users to access the mobile service (voice or internet) near the medium. **The same medium can be used by several operators, for several different technologies and frequency bands.**
Attention: the supports that appear on this map have been authorised by the ANFR. Some of them have not yet been put into service, and therefore do not provide mobile access at present.
This map shows the telecom antennas of Grand Paris Sud.

The owner rents the site to the operator.
