Resources dedicated to R & D: Enterprises by branch and size
Description
This dataset presents the financial and human resources devoted to research and development in companies by research branch and size.
**Data source**
The results are derived from the survey on the resources devoted to research and experimental development in France among companies. This survey is carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) at the sub-directorate of information systems and statistical studies (SIES). The survey is carried out among approximately 12000 companies carrying out R & D work in France.
All results are final.
Statistical confidentiality is applied to all variables.
**Units of account**
Expenditure and resources are expressed in thousands of euros.
The numbers are expressed in FTE except for the variables (EFFRD_PP_E, EFFRD_FEM_PP_E, EFFRD_HOM_PP_E, CHERCH_PP_E, CHERCH_FEM_PP_E and CHERCH_HOM_PP_E) which are expressed in the number of natural persons.
